Scientifically designed to return to nature, it represents a sustainable solution for textile products, including bedding.

When PrimaLoft® Bio™ is exposed to landfills or ocean water, it will break down over time into natural elements: water, CO2, methane, biomass and humus.

In the landfill, it reaches 93,8% biodegradation* in 646 days and approximately 65,5% biodegradation* in a marine environment. In comparison, during the tests standard polyester degraded only 1-1,5%.

Does the product with PrimaLoft® Bio™ have any performance differences?2023-06-14T20:30:29+00:00

The performance of products that contain PrimaLoft® Bio™ is not compromised. The products are durable, machine washable, and will not break down during use.

Can PrimaLoft® Bio™ be used for home textiles?2023-06-14T20:30:57+00:00

Yes, at Interscalit we can manufacture both pillows and duvets that contain PrimaLoft® Bio™ filling.

There is also a possibility to create products with a PrimaLoft® Bio™ non-woven material.

PrimaLoft® brand is already well recognized by customers in multiple markets. The company provides a set of label and hang tag designs that can be used to support the marketing message of your bedding product.

Please note, the use of a PrimaLoft® brand hang tag is mandatory for all end products containing PrimaLoft® products in 50% or greater of the end product.

*93.8% biodegradation in 646 days under ASTM D5511 conditions (landfill environment); 65.5% biodegradation in 639 days under ASTM D6691 conditions (marine/ocean environment). The stated rate and extent of degradation do not mean that the product will continue to degrade.
