When PrimaLoft® Bio™ is exposed to landfills or ocean water, it will break down over time into natural elements: water, CO2, methane, biomass and humus.
In the landfill, it reaches 93,8% biodegradation* in 646 days and approximately 65,5% biodegradation* in a marine environment. In comparison, during the tests standard polyester degraded only 1-1,5%.
